Helen Pauline Slaybaugh, 91, of Walla Walla, and a resident of the Longview 
area for many years, passed away January 31, 2006 in Richland, Washington. 

She was born May 17, 1914 in Madoc, Montana to James and Florence (Morrison) 
Robbins. Mrs. Slaybaugh was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the 
Longview Rebekah Lodge #305, the Ocean Beach Rebekah Lodge, Pacific Chapter 
Easter Star in Ilwaco, and Ladies of Elks in Long Beach. 

She is survived by daughter Pam Lewelling and husband Greg; granddaughter Patty 
Holt and husband Dale, as well as great-grandsons Christopher and Zachery Holt; 
grandson Robert Burns. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Ike, son Don, and by seven brothers 
and sisters. 

A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Willamette National 
Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to Odd Fellows Home, 534 
Boyer Ave., Walla Walla, WA 99362.
