She was born May 17, 1914 in Madoc, Montana to James and Florence (Morrison) Robbins. Mrs. Slaybaugh was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Longview Rebekah Lodge #305, the Ocean Beach Rebekah Lodge, Pacific Chapter Easter Star in Ilwaco, and Ladies of Elks in Long Beach. She is survived by daughter Pam Lewelling and husband Greg; granddaughter Patty Holt and husband Dale, as well as great-grandsons Christopher and Zachery Holt; grandson Robert Burns. She was preceded in death by her husband Ike, son Don, and by seven brothers and sisters. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
