Delano Jackie Sommerfeld, 67, of Kelso died May 21, 2006. 

He was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Edgeley, N.D., to Jacob and Elta (Zimmerman) 
Sommerfeld. 

Mr. Sommerfeld is survived by his wife, Lois Sommerfeld; a son, Brandon 
Sommerfeld; two stepsons, Alan Shaw and Alden Shaw; three daughters, Jennifer 
Cummings, Krystal-Kay Hawkins and Jenny Marthaller; and 17 grandchildren. 

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at New Life 
Fellowship in Longview. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Voice Ministries, P.O. Box 31777, 
Phoenix, AZ 85046 or the Humane Society of Cowlitz County, 909 Columbia St. 
Longview, WA 98632.
