Kenneth W. Swanson, 78, of Kelso died Jan. 14, 2006.

He was born Dec. 3, 1927, in Harvey, Ill, to Paul A. and Milda Swanson.  He 
graduated from Napa High School in California.

Mr. Swanson served in the Army, stationed in Japan.  He worked at the Napa Post 
Office and lived in Palm Springs, Calif, and San Francisco before moving to 
Kelso.

He is survived by a brother, Vance Swanson and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Columbia Funeral Service.
