Hope Taylor, 85, of Longview died June 12, 2006. 

She was born March 14, 1921, in Pullman to James W. and Elizabeth (Stockdale) 
Curtis. She attended schools in McClary, Wash., and moved to Cowlitz County 
from Montesano, Wash., in 1945. 

Mrs. Taylor worked for a local doctor. 

Her husband, Frank Taylor, preceded her in death in 1994. 

She is survived by a daughter, Margo Elliott; two granddaughters; and a nephew. 

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Steele Chapel at Longview 
Memorial Park & Crematory. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
