James Joseph Thiery, 68, of Longview died May 22, 2006. 

He was born Aug. 11, 1937, in Brainard, Mo., to Clarence Earl and Jennie Marie 
(Dorsted) Thiery. He moved to the local area in 1942 and graduated from Castle 
Rock High School. 

Mr. Thiery was a carpenter. He lived in California and Colorado for many years. 

He is survived by a son, Steven Thiery; three daughters, Kim Thiery, Cheryl 
Thiery and Linda Thiery; four stepchildren, Debbie Gorton, Eric Rheaume, Kurt 
Rheaume, Connie Karnoski; a sister, Carol Thiery; three brothers, Robert 
Thiery, Bill Thiery and Rany Thiery; and numerous grandchildren. 

At his request, no service will be held. 

Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.
