She was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Minneapolis Minn., and graduated from Garfield High School, in Seattle in 1955. She married Richard Thompson in 1956. They moved to Longview in 1963. Mrs. Thompson was a sign language interpreter for the Longview School District and taught sign language at Lower Columbia College. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Marie Julsen; four children, Rick, Jeff, Karen and Teri, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at C ASA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CASA, 304 Catlin St., Kelso, WA 98626. Arrangements were by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
