She married George Edward Tiemens Jr. in 1947 and spent the majority of her life here in Kelso raising her two sons, George III and Michael. She is survived by her husband and sons; sisters, Margaret Sheehy, Kay Rick, Florence Bell; brother, John (Bud) Nathan; step brothers, Glen Nathan, Trent Nathan and Dick Nathan; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by siblings, Francis Nichols, Gloria Nathan, Sheri Abbey, William Nathan, and grandchildren David and Allie Tiemens. Pearl enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, painting ceramics and picking her blueberries. She was very active in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed sharing her home cooked meals with others. Pearl left us peacefully early Sunday morning from the Hospice Care Center here in Longview. She touched the lives of everyone that she met and will be missed very much by all. Public viewing will be held Wednesday at Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home in Kelso from 10am to 5pm. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 4th at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Castle Rock at 1pm.
