She was born Aug. 7, 1910, in Theodosia, Mo., to Walter and Delia Herd. On Nov. 27, 1926, she married Dallas Turley in Theodosia. He preceded her in death July 31, 1988. Mrs. Turley and her husband owned and operated a farm in Ozark County, Mo. They moved to Rainier in 1944, both working at Weyerhaeuser Co. and operated strawberry farms in the Delena area. She later owned and operated the "Tid Bit" cafe in Rainier. She is survived by four children, Hansel Turley, Hestel Turley, Mona Gorsline and Lyle Turley; a sister, Eunice McClelland; eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary Chapel in Rainier. A committal service will follow at Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
