The family moved to Kelso, WA when Bill was a teenager. Bill served in the Army during World War II and worked for many years as a manager at a box plant in Canby, OR. He retired in 1985 to enjoy his hobbies. Bill loved to dig clams, gamble and always had a pretty yard. Bill was a devoted son to his mother. Two brothers, both parents, and his wife, Betty, preceded him in death. There were no children. With failing health, Bill moved to Colorado to live with his niece, Colleen and husband, Deloss Proctor. He is survived by two nieces, Colleen Proctor in Whitewater, CO and Maxine Hoggatt in Evansville, WY.
