Helen A. Vinton, 80, of Longview died May 24, 2006. 

She was born May 30, 1925, in Castle Rock to Leo and Annie (Hoyer) Welch and 
was a 1943 graduate of Castle Rock High School. 

She married Pete Vinton on May 28, 1943. He survives her. Also surviving are 
two daughters, Kathy Ward and Sandi Colbert; seven grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

At her request, no service will be held. Private interment has taken place at 
Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. 
Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632. 

Arrangements are by Columbia Funeral Service.
