He was born in Hood River, Oregon on September 26, 1956 to Wilbert "Wil" and Lorraine (Buchheit) Walters Sr. His family lived in Clatskanie for several years before moving to Longview in 1969. He graduated from Mark Morris in 1974. He married Debbie Oswalt on June 19,1987 in Longview Debbie was his love and his life partner and survives him at home, with their precious kitty, Autumn Storm "Stormy". He was a papermaker at Weyerhauser and Norpac for 30 years where he leaves behind many good friends. He loved his best friend Steve King. Will worked out at the YMCA regularly and leaves many friends there. His family was very important to him especially the nieces and nephews he treasured so dearly. He loved to ski, water ski ,ride dirt bikes, and go Harley Ridin' with Debbie. He was passionate about his cars and electronic equipment. His motto about those passions was "The Bigger, The Badder, The Better". He was a member of St.Rose Catholic Church in Longview. In addition to his wife Debbie, he is also survived by his dad and step mom Wil and Leslee Walters of Terra Alta, W. Va.; a brother and sister in-law Jeff and Kim Walters of Longview; 2 Sisters and their husbands Pamela and Mark Enbusk, and Kelly and Jeff Klein, all of Kelso; mother and father in-law Carol and Ted Oswalt of Castle Rock; Brothers in-law, Bob and David Oswalt of Castle Rock ,and Danny Oswalt of Longview. Nieces and nephews surviving him are Amy Swanson, Joshua Evans, Jodi Enbusk, Ryan Walters, Cody Blakley, Abby Klein, Nicole Walters; Richard, Christopher, Mariah, and Edward Oswalt and one great niece, Charlie Jo Swanson. He was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Walters in 1987 and his brother in-law Rick Oswalt. A Celebration of' Life was held on Monday February 13, 2006 at 4 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Longview. Private Entombment will take place at Longview Memorial Park Mausoleum. Wills' family is grateful for the loving support they have received through this very painful time.
