He was born Nov. 8 1912, in Portland to Leonard W. and Lydia (Romberg) Weisenborn and attended Portland schools. Mr. Weisenborn moved to Hockinson, WA, in 1945 and owned and operated Baker Creek Lumber Company with his brother, Bill. In 1965, he worked for Morrison- Knutsen Corporation in Vietnam until 1972. He lived in Africa before returning to Hockinson and reopening Baker Creek Lumber. He semi-retired to Ocean Park in 1989. He married Virginia DuNann on Nov. 30, 1935. She survives him. Also surviving are two sons, Joe Weisenborn and Ray Weisenborn; two daughters, Carol Weisenborn and Julia Sott; two brothers, Bill Weisenborn and Frank Weisenborn; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
