Lois was born on September 11, 1918 in Minot, North Dakota. She was married to her husband Paul for 63 years. Lois lived in Longview, Washington from 1952- 1999, where she was employed by the Longview School District as a secretary. She was very active in the Longview Church of the Nazarene serving as Sunday School Superintendent, Missionary President, choir member and children's worker for many years. In 1999, she moved to The Bedford Retirement facility in Vancouver, Washington where she lived until her death. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. William Irwin and her two sisters, Neva Parker and Gertrude Long. Lois is survived by her husband, Paul of Vancouver, Washington; her three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Paul Wardlaw of Lenexa, Kansas, Carol and Hal Calbom of Seattle, Washington, Shirley and Larry Olson of Portland, Oregon; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Rose City Nazarene Church in Portland, OR on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. A private burial service will be held at Longview Memorial Park in Longview, Washington.
