Claude L. Beadell

BRIDGEPORT - Claude L. Beadell, 90, Bridgeport, died Friday, Feb. 8,1991, in 
Harmony House, Brewster.

He was born March 24, 1900, Sheridan, Iowa, to Clarence and Cora (Woods) 
Beadell. He attended school at Sheridan and moved with his family to the 
Palouse country of Washington in 1910, then to Tillamook, Ore.

He married Esther Fuller March 19,1923, at Puyallup. He was an operation 
engineer for Morrison-Knudsen Construction, working on various projects in 
Sumner, White Center, the St. Lawrence Seaway and Vietnam. The Beadells moved 
to Bridgeport in 1978.

Mr. Beadell was a life member of Masonic Columbia Lodge No. 193, F. & AM. of 
Bridgeport; a life member of Operating Engineers Local No. 302; and a member 
of the National Rifleman's Association and United Methodist Church of 
Bridgeport.

Survivors include his wife, at home; three sons, "  " of Seattle, "  "of 
Bothell and "  " of Seattle; two daughters, "  ", Redmond, and "  ", 
Bridgeport; one sister, Lillian Nettles, Tucson; 16 grandchildren; and 21 
greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Barnes Chapel, Brewster, is in charge of arrangements.
