Tennessee. He moved with his parents to Wright County, Missouri, and was married to Susan Haggatt in 1878. They came west in the summer of 1888 and settled on a homestead where the station of Supplee is now located, moving to their present home in 1901.Mrs. Cavanaugh died in 1918. To this union was born seven children: Mrs. Mary Lovett, Mrs. Dora Gormley and Robert of Wenatchee, Mrs. Laura McDonald and William of Alstown; May Hall and Jay having preceded him to the land above. He was married to Mrs. Arminda McAlister 26 May 1920, who survives him. He was a true pioneer of this country when it was not much more than sagebrush plain.
