END OF CHAPEL HILL/MAYVIEW DATA Elaine and her sister, Barbara (TRESCOTT) BARTELS, also extracted genealogically related items from the early Garfield County newspapers; namely the "Washington Independent" 8/1880 to 8/1896 and the "East Washingtonian" 3/1882 to 1928. When death notices from these papers indicated where burial took place I have added them to this record with a note in the comments column. Some of these undoubtedly account for the Unknown graves. The following burials were noted as being in Chapel Cemetery but I do not know if that was this one (Chapel Hill) or Union Chapel. Vicki (HAZARD) BATTERTON. RIFFE, infant dau.
