PING CEMETERY, Ping, Gerfield County, WA

Located on Wilbur TRAVIS ranch on Ping Gulch Rd., north of Pomeroy several 
miles.  Ask him for directions.  Located (according to a 1913 Standard 
Atlas of the county) in Ping Precinct; R41E  T14N  Sec 28.

Elaine and her sister, Barbara (TRESCOTT) BARTELS, also extracted 
genealogically related items from the early Garfield County newspapers; 
namely the "Washington Independent" 8/1880 to 8/1896 and the "East 
Washingtonian" 3/1882 to 1928.  When death notices from these papers 
indicated where burial took place I have added them to this record with a 
note in the comments column.  Some of these undoubtedly account for the
