Aberdeen Daily World obit, March 17, 1961, p.3:  
JOHN C. MANNION.  Requiem high mass for John C. Mannion will be offered at 
9:30 o'clock Saturday morning from St. Mary's Catholic Church and will be 
followed by interment in Fern Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Frank Miner, 
John O'Leary, Russell Hindman, John Pearsall, Robert Larson and Harvey 
Nelson.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock tonight in the Whiteside 
chapel.
