FINAL RITES HELD FOR LUELLA SWEESY MCCAU 

Mrs. W. O. McCau, the former Luella Sweesy of Maquoketa, died Thursday 
morning, February 1, in Aberdeen, Washington. 

Death was attributed to a paralytic stroke which she suffered about six months 
ago. The funeral was held February 3 in Aberdeen. 

Her husband, W. O. McCau died about a year ago. She lived southeast of 
Maquoketa during her earlier years and was graduated from Maquoketa high 
school in 1895. She taught school in this vicinity. She is survived by sons, 
Donald and Robert.
