Burial list of Georgetown IOOF Cemetery transcribed and submitted by Mr. Jean F. Coston October 30, 2008. This is a complete listing. Both above notices must remain when copied or downloaded. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This cemetery was dedicated in 1895 as the Comet Lodge IOOF Cemetery (Independent Order of Odd Fellows). It has been called the South Seattle IOOF Cemetery, the Graham S. St. Cemetery, and the South Becon Hill Cemetery, and it is now known as the Georgetown IOOF Cemetery. The Comet IOOF Lodege in Geowntown has been gone for many years and the cememtery has been abandon, bulldozed, vandolized, tomb stones broken, cleaned up and restored. At one time there were about 200 people in the cemetery. The records are lost and what is listed here are all that remain. The cemetery is found on South Graham Street between 21th South and 23rd South. At one time the city of Seattle was thinking of attaching this cedmetery for non-payment taxes which they can't do, then condemning the land and making it into a park. The cemetery is about two acres and now overlooks the north end of Boeing Field and the King County Airport with Georgetown to the north. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: do=daughter of ho=husband of so=son of wo=wife of ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Name Dates Notes B Bevan Samual J. 8/9/1828 6/30/1911 Father Samual J. 12/7/1863 8/12/1917 so Samual J.
