Fabian was born in 1942 in New York City and raised by his father Felipe 
Acosta who had emigrated from the Philippines.

He attended Julliard, Rutgers University and received his law degree from the 
University of Washington.

He is survived by his first wife, Virginia Jose, and their three children 
Doublas, David and Rachel; and by his second wife Martha Walton and their son 
Thomas.
