John was born in Ephrata, WA on December 23, 1939.

After graduation from High School he enlisted in the US Navy and spent time on
Guam teaching navy pilots to fly with the aid of a Link Trainer.

In 1962 he married Grace Eckton.

Jack was preceded in death by son John David Jr, his father George and his
mother Erselia, and brothers Mike and George Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Grace, and daughter Denise Allen;
daughter Angela Nelson (John).
