Charles was born September 13, 1930 in Seattle to Charles W. and Ruth Anderson.

He married Barbara Lange in August 1953.

He was drafted into the U.S. Army six months later and he was stationed in New
York City.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara (2012) and son Dave (2013.

He is survived by  sister Miriam Ewing, daughter Becky Barton (Joel), daughter
Linda Aruffo, and son Paul (Marie).
