Max was born March 22, 1923 in Vincent, WA.

During World War II he was in the US Navy, serving on a support ship off the
coast of France on D Day.

He married Ruth Ann Riley in 1945.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth in 1989, and brother Allen.

He is survived by his children Jerry, Connie, Chris, Carla, John and Cindy.
