Dorothy was born in Wichita, KS September 17, 1916 to Clarence Demps Mountz and
Rebecca Pearl Hughes.  Her mother travelled by train to Washington State in
September 1908 to marry Clarence who was homesteading near Sunnyside, WA.

During World War II she worked at Boeing as an office supervisor.

Dorothy married Irving Douglas Anderson, DMD in Seattle.  Irving died in 1996 at
the age of 92.   They had been married 45 years.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters Muriel Elizabeth Berger, Marjorie
Pearl Wheelon and Roberta (Bobbe) Janet Anderson.

She is survived by son Howard Douglas Anderson (Robbie); daughter Muriel Ida
"Mia" Anderson.
