Gordon was born December 2, 1923 in Juneau, Alaska to Iver and Fanny Anderson.

He joined the Air Force in 1943 as a bombardier aboard B29's stationed out of
Saipan.   He was recalled to serve in the Korean War.

He married Marylyn Meisner in September 10, 1949, and celebrated 60 years of
marriage before she died.

He is survived by children Peter (Diane), Steve (Kathryn), Wayne (Karen).

He was preceded in death by his wife Marylyn; son Tom, his parents; sister
Marion Thomas and brother Ken.
