Carole was born August 29, 1944 in Canton, OH to Merl and Lorraine Jenkins.

She married Alan Artis, and they were married 47 years at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband Alan Sr.; daughter Alisa (Steve), son Alan II
(Dawn); her sisters Ann and Dawn and brother William.
