Mildred was born in Seattle to Myrtle and Otto Kienele on September 15, 1924.

She married Jack Bigford in the fall of 1944.   He was serving in the Navy as a
dive bomber pilot in the Pacific and they married between tours of duty.   Jack
died in 1976 at the age of 55.  

She is survived by her sister Reggie Consani; children Bob, Terry, Carol.
