He married Ruth Ann Riley in 1945.
Bonnie was born in Utah on July 31, 1933 to Ruth (Selley) and Clarence Hyler.

She married E. John Black in 1956.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Black (William N. Zagotta) and son
Douglas J. Black (Janet I.).
