Philip was born October 19, 1921 in Staples, MN.

He served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his nine children Mary, Elizabeth, Philip, Paul, Patricia,
Ann, Margaret, Teresa and Mark; and his sibling Jean (Ruth) Blanchett.

He was preceded in death in 1990 by Pat Blanchett, his wife of 27 years.
