Neal was born April 26, 1947 in Yakima, WA to Louie and Elsie Brand.

He married Darlayne Vestal on December 30, 1967.

He served in the Navy as a Medical Corpsman in Japan and then in Viet Nam
earning a Distinguished Service Medal for his outstanding service.

He is survived by his wife Darlayne; parents Louie and Elsie; son Nathan
(Heather); daughter Natasha Cunningham (Todd); sister Josephine Gantenbein
(Kurt) and brother Jim Brand.
