John was born in Lewiston, Idaho on May 10, 1937 to George and Marjorie 
Brunzell.    

He married Jeanyne Smyth in 1959.    She preceded him in death in 1974.

He was a UW School of Medicine graduate in 1963.   John served as a US Army 
Captain in Viet Nam as a Helicopter Squadron Flight Surgeon from 1965-66.

In 1977 he married Patricia (Pat) Brownell Frazier and they blended his three 
children with Patricia's two children into a family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, Jeff (Megan Fischer) Brunzell, Julia 
Brunzell (Michael Read), John Brunzell Jr. (Ashley Evensen (Wren), John (Andrea) 
Frazier, Jim (Kendall) Frazier and two sisters Laura Franklin and Diane Salz.

He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Dawn Holt (Gregg) and Jennifer 
Platts (Bill).
