David was born in Yakima, WA December 28, 1946 to Herchel and Alice Cary.

Shortly after high school graduation in 1965 he joined the US Marine Corp and
was sent to Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Ursula; children Patrick, Shawn, Kristen;
two daughters-in-law Tara and Erin; sister Janet Bahner.
