Mary Jo was born in Bozeman, Montana to Capt. George A. Jahant (U.S. Army) and
Irby Crawford Jahant.

She married Lyle Clark June 24, 1946 after he returned from serving in the Army
during World War II.

Lyle and Mary Jo co-founded Clark's Stationery Co in 1950 which operated in the
Lake City Way area of Seattle for several decades.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Lyle, and children Lyle M "Skip"
Clark, Jr. (Pat), Dean G. Clark (Susan) and Victoria L. Carlson (David).

She was predeceased by her parents and siblings George Jahant Jr., Angela
Alderson and Paul Jahant.
