Jean was born January 13, 1920 in Bellingham, WA to William Coston Carver and
Gertrude Crites Carver.

Following a five-year marriage to Irving Thiel, she married Jack Clark in 1948.

She is survived by children:  Nancy Sellers, Sallie Chaney (John), Susan Elgarf
(Tarek).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack. (d. 2001)
