Evelyn was born March 31, 1919 in Seattle to Joseph and Elizabeth Wykes.

She married Army Air Force 2nd Lt. Donald Soens in June 1943.   He was killed in
September 1943.

In October 1944 she married Henry "Hank" Whaley and they were married 26 years
when he died in March 1970.

In September 1974 she married Thomas Colby and they were married 23 years until
he died in 1997.

She is survived by son Patrick (Ellen) Whaley, daughter Kathleen
(Farrell-deceased) Ressler.

She was preceded in death by daughter Terersa (Greg) Forte; siblings Edna
MacPherson, Joseph Wykes Jr., Patricia Anderson.
