Hazel was born on August 15, 1919 in Smiths Falls, Ontario to Raymond Arthur  
and Cora Mae Shaw Calvert.

She met Josiah "Joe" Colcord who had recently returned from World War II and 
they  were married in Maine in 1947.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Joe, her sister 
Pauline, and her brother Larry Calvert.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Colcord-Moen (George), and her sister 
Lorna Evans.
