Vada was born on March 12, 1921 at Fort Lewis, WA to Jacob and Martha 
Lawrence.

In 1944 Vada married a Coast Guard Lieutenant Jack Corkery.   After World 
War II they moved to Seattle.

Vada was predeceased by her parents, sister Helen Lawrence Grygiel (died in 
1954), sons Craig and Dale, and her husband Jack.

She is survived by her daughter Karleen Snetsinger and nephew Michael 
(Kathy) Grygiel.
