John was born February 8, 1924 in Seattle to Nazzareno and Rosa Croce.

He served in the US military from 1943-46 with the 7th Army, and was involved
with the liberation of Dachau Concentration Camp.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Rose; children Holly Cochran (Bill),
Cathy Volpone (Ken); Mike (Chris); sisters Mary and Sylvia.

John was preceded in death by his parents, son John, Jr., and sister Lily.
