He married Ruth Ann Riley in 1945.
Elvira was born May 14, 1919 in Eutaw, Alabama.   She had 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

She married Coter Cummingham in 1962.   He preceded her in death.

The obituary states that she is survived by "her sisters and brothers", but does
not indicate if all 8 of them survive her, nor are any names given.
