Ray was born August 21, 1920 ion Starheim, Norway and immigrated to the US with
his parents Sam and Martha Dahl.

He married Bernice O'Brian in January 1944, and then served in the Army during
World War II, stationed in Japan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Bernice and his sister Agnes Hart.

He is survived by sister Myrtle Strom; daughters Kay Broten, Andrea Dahl,
Kristina Frances and Patricia Kesling-Wood.
