Barnard was born November 25, 1917 in Burlington, WA to Jennie (Mills) and
Lucius Davis.

He helped produce the Douglas-20c and B-17 Flying Fortress planes during World
War II.

In 1938 he married Lucille Struthers and they had two sons John and Alan.   In
1958 he married Elizabeth Brooks (deceased 1992) and they had one son, James.

Barney is survived by his three children John (Anne), Jim, and Alan (Didi).
