Raymond was born February 24, 1916 to Italian immigrant parents, Eugene and
Margaret DeGabriele in Roslyn, WA.

He joined the US Army for WWII serving as a supply sergeant with the Army Corps
of Engineers in Italy, Sicily and North Africa.

He married Matilda "Nicki" in 1949.  She died in February 2014.

He and his twin brother Al operated Ray and Al's Fine Foods in the Admiral
District of West Seattle from 1949-1960.

He is survived by daughters Lisa Florio (Jim) and Rita DeGabriele.
