Leon was born Janaury 14, 1938 in Bridgewater, Maine.


In 1956 he joined the Navy.

He married Maridee Garvey and they had a daughter Allison.

He married Sharon Wester and they were married 23 years at the time of his 
death.

He was recently recognized for 15 years of volunteer service to Northwest 
Harvest.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy (Hanning) and father 
Elbridge Luther Delong, sister Joy and brothers Vincent "Bud" and Walter.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Allison, siblings Pat, Alvin, 
Gary and Candy; and step-son Kevin.
