Robert was born April 2, 1923 in Andalusia, Alabama to James Gee and Myrtle
(Godbold) Dunn.

He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1945, then served on the USS Duluth
for five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Myrtle; his wife of 57 years
Esther (Sletvold) Dunn; brother James Gee Dunn Jr. and his twin sister Betty
Singletary.

Robert is survived by his daughter Laurelon Plienis (Ronald).
