Saginaw Employee Claimed by Death. Joseph R. Edwards, 56, powderman for the 
Saginaw Logging company, whose residence was at Box 134, Tenino, died 
yesterday at a local hospital following an illness of several weeks. He had 
lived most of his life in this district. He is survived by his wife, Edith, 
and children at Tenino. The body was sent today by the Elerding company to 
Centralia where funeral services will be arranged by the Newell-Hoerling 
Funeral Home.

Joseph also lived and worked in Lewis and Thurston Counties.
Joseph Ralph EDWARDS, Jr., b.March 17, 1889 Houtzdale, Clearfield, PA, m.May 
18, 1910 King County, WA to Edith Wynn JENKINS, d.May 13, 1945 Aberdeen, Grays 
Harbor, WA, bu.Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia, Lewis, WA.
Parents: Joseph Ralph EDWARDS, Sr. (1862-1953) and Phoebie FRIEND (abt 1868-
abt 1891).
Siblings: William Charles Denning EDWARDS (1886-1977) and Alice Phoebe EDWARDS 
COEN (1891-1981). Father remarried and had additional children, Joseph's half-
siblings: Margaret, Ethel, Samuel, Annie, and Meda.
