Jennie was born in Northwood, Iowa on July 2, 1921 to Jens and Luvina Thorson.

She married Thomas Egaas in 1956 and they were married 53 years at the time of
his death.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her parents; sister Eleanor
and brother-in-law Oskar; sister Jeanette; sister Louise and brother-in-law Olav
Lunde.

She is survived by her children Susan, Nancy (Matt), Brian (Korina); brother Ted
(Janet), brothers-in-law Richard Navratil, Kenny Egaas (Marilyn), Ben Egaas
(Dorothy).
