Myra was born June 29, 1923 to Arla O. and Gustaf A. Palm in Hannaford, 
North Dakota.

During World War II she was recruited by the US Navy WAVES, serving as 
platoon leader.   Orders sent her to Pasco, WA.

She married Jack Elvrom on June 30, 1944.  They were married 57 years when 
he died in 2001.

She was also preceded in death by daughter Kathi, and siblings Ruby, 
Marilyn, Wally and Earl.

She is survived by son Rick (Chris), Jeanine Slatt (Chris); and her brother 
Bill Palm (Annie).
