Delbert was born in Shawnee, OK.

He served  in the US Navy during World War II.

He married Veronica Patricia in Costa Rica to whom he was married 66 years at
the time of his death.

Del is survived by his wife Veronica, children Christopher (Karen), Paul (Karin)
and Sandra Uberuaga (Richard).

He was preceded in death by an infant son, David.
