Frank was born on October 31, 1924 in Tacoma.

In 1943 he enlisted in the Army Air corps as an Aviation Cadet and was a 
bombardier in Europe during World War II.   He took pilot training and was one 
of the first US Air Force pilots.   He participated in the Korean War, and 
served on the staff at the Pacific Air Force Headquarters during the Viet Nam 
war.  He was decorated with the Legion of Merit, a Distinguished Flying Cross 
and many other citations and medals.   He retired in 1975 as a Colonel.

He married Florence Aldrich and had been married to her for 69 years at the time 
of his death.

Frank is survived by his wife Florence, brothers Ray and Tom Evans, sister Irene 
Wolgeher, sons Gordon (Sandi), Bob (Steve) and Larry (Sally).
